Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our aquatic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, with the ability to deliver engaging swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Duties

• Deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to the needs of learners, from beginners to advanced swimmers
• Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety procedures effectively
• Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills
• Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed during lessons and in the pool area
• Maintain a clean and organised teaching environment, including poolside equipment and materials
• Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates learners and builds confidence in the water

Experience

• Previous experience in coaching or teaching, in swimming, is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of diverse ages and backgrounds
• A recognised swimming qualification or certification (e.g., ASA/STA Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate) is essential
