Job DescriptionAs a Senior Manager for S&W Business Outsourcing Services, your responsibilities will include among others
- Assisting Partners with managing their client portfolios
- Ensure client expectations are exceeded by providing a first-class service at all times, whilst maintaining open and proactive communication
- Proactive job management; identify issues, develop and present solutions to clients and partners
- Contribute to effective management of resources across the department
- Monitor workload, manage work-in-progress and billing across your portfolio
- Identify future opportunities at S&W within your portfolio and beyond, assisting partners with business development
- Build a team spirit that encourages collaboration; take ownership of coaching junior managers and take responsibility for ADR process
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have experience
- Professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA) and significant management experience gained within an accountancy firm
- Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting standards and their application
- Strong communication skills in order to liaise with clients, Partners, staff and other professionals
- Strong organisational skills to ensure needs of clients, Partners and staff are all met
- Have proven analytical skills and attention to detail
- Flexible, adaptable and with committed attitude
Desired
- Experience of working with entrepreneurial, OMB and SME clients and ability to develop trusted advisor status with clients
- Experience of working across different service lines to deliver a joined-up service to clients
- Be comfortable managing multiple competing engagements, workflows, and timeframes, and working under pressure to meet deadlines
- A good trainer and mentor, able to motivate and inspire colleagues; Enabling other team members to achieve their maximum potential
