Working hours –
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 – 5, Friday: 8:30 – 2:10

The Role

This is a new and exciting opportunity; due to growth we are expanding our team which requires a Supply Chain Manager to join our Purchasing function You will be responsible for planning, sourcing and buying the best quality materials equipment and services at the most competitive prices to enable Doncasters to turn metals into motion and operate at our best

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will…

• Use your leadership skills to support 2 direct reports.
• Work hand in hand with the production, capacity planning function to ensure alignment between materials availability and production plans.
• Conduct research and work closely with the Engineering function to seek out the best products and suppliers in terms of quality and value.
• Forecast price trends and their impact on future operational activity.
• Develop a purchasing and stocking strategy.

To succeed as a Supply Chain Manager, you will have previous experience in a senior supply chain or procurement role within a manufacturing/ Engineering company. Experience within an Investment Casting or Industrial Gas Turbine company, this is advantageous.

You will have data analytical skills alongside proven excel, communication and negotiation skills. You will have experience leading and supporting a team since you will support 2 direct reports.
