Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Stylist to join our dynamic team at Francesco Hair Birmingham Academy. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients will be essential in providing an outstanding salon experience. Working alongside our Graduate Salon team you will have opportunities to explore the avenues of the education side of the industry by helping to support our apprenticeship education team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of styling services, including haircuts, barbering and colouring services for all hair types.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and preferences.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
  • Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
  • Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure a welcoming environment for clients.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and beauty techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Stylist with in the hair industry.
  • Strong skills in barbering and hairdressing techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Experience in front desk management is preferred.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior staff members effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
