Little Lodge Nursery is an 88 placed Outstanding and Award Winning Setting Based in Spetchley, Worcester employing a team of 40 practitioners and supporting team members. We are looking for an experienced manager with a minimum of 12 months experience in either a deputy manager or manager role to join our established Nursery Management Team and nursery group. You will be supported in your role by a regional manager two deputy managers, two administrative staff and a sister site in Bransford with a further 35 staff members.

We are open 51 weeks a year from 7.30am to 5.30pm each day.

The following skills are a mandatory requirement where listed:

  • Minimum of a Level 3 Childcare Qualification (mandatory)
  • Managerial Course or Equivalent - Nice to have
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a deputy manager or a manager in a busy setting.
  • People management skills
  • Must be IT literate and be able to use online learning journeys and management software
  • The candidate must be reflective in their nature and be able to generate and execute action plans.
  • Previous OFSTED inspection experience - Nice to have

The role is full time and based on 41 hours over four days. There will be some off the job hours which are required which are related to but not limited to training out of hours, two Saturday training days per year and attendance at early years conferences and relevant CPD events.

The candidate must be confident in understanding the EYFS and be able to achieve a minimum of a Good rating during a quality inspection conducted by the regional manager or an early years consultant.

We are an outstanding setting looking for a vibrant, confident and creative manager who can flourish within a strong setting with a supportive management team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £36,500.00-£37,500.00 per year
