Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee and support operations within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising operatives, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient workflow. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food production experience to lead by example and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

ROLE OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE

To maintain the smooth running of production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Train and development team members

· Co-ordinate picking & packing activities

· The utilisation of human and machine resources

· To control usage and wastage of packing materials

· To develop own knowledge and skills

· To ensure continuous availability of packing materials

· To organise and co-ordinate stock take activities

· Cover team leaders when unavailable

· Cover management holidays

· Stock control duties

· Leading the team

· Managing shop floor

· Understanding of HR policies and procedures

· Understanding of Maintenance department

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

· Digi operation

· Completion of end of line costings

· Packing machinery knowledge

· Stock control knowledge
