Role Overview

This is a hands-on management role where you will oversee day-to-day operations, lead staff, deliver outstanding customer service and host children's gaming parties and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operation of the Newcastle-under-Lyme gaming arena
  • Lead, train and motivate staff
  • Host parties, Home Ed sessions, SEND sessions and events
  • Handle incoming phone calls and take bookings
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents and children
  • Maintain a safe, clean and exciting environment
  • Support tournaments, events and social media ideas
  • Occasionally work at our other Hurricane venues when needed

About You

  • Outgoing, confident and great with children
  • A natural entertainer who brings fun and energy
  • Good gaming knowledge across consoles and PC
  • Reliable, organised and hard-working
  • Strong team leader
  • Good phone manner and able to take bookings
  • Interest in tabletop games (Warhammer, D&D etc.)
  • Able to work weekends

Hours

  • 40 hours per week
  • One weekday off (flexible)
  • Weekend work essential
