CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Hard Services Manager for our contract based in Slough.
The purpose of the Hard Service Manager role is to have management and overall responsibility in line with all Health and Safety, environmental, company procedures related general legislation and client/tenant requirements as well as customer service standards for all Hard Services on site.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure all Hard Services and fabric of the building both externally and internally is maintained and serviced to a high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets.
- To be responsible for all the health and safety compliance onsite, including that of third party services providers and maintenance records. This includes ensuring all systems are regularly updated and monitored in accordance with all the Health and Safety requirements including adherence to the clients permitting system.
- To manage the permitting of all CBRE tasks as required.
- To oversee CBRE third party contracts to ensure the correct standard of service is provided in accordance with the agreed contract.
- Ensure all tasks delivered in the time frame required by the contract or ensure appropriate immigration are in place and communicated to our customer.
- To provide management of the sites CAFAM systems and team time allocation.
- Preparation, control and monitoring of the service agreement in accordance with the client's contractual agreement.
- Regular monitoring of the key performance indicators and taking proactive and remedial action as applicable to ensure the required standards are maintained and constantly improved for the full range of buildings
- To compile and maintain all required management information/records. This includes asset register, emergency plans and management reports
Person Specification/Requirements
- Qualification to minimum NVQ Level 3 in facility management or associate engineering trade.
- Previous facilities management experience. This includes Line Management responsibility for personnel and contractors.
- Electrically qualified and able to work both as an engineer and as a manager.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- IT literate, together with an understanding and experience of industry specific IT Applications and requirements.
- High degree and knowledge reference of Health and Safety legislation, environmental protection requirements and ideally IOSH qualified.
