Kennel Worker

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing excellent service for our dogs. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for the well-being of animals in our care, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, and healthy. It will also include off site training with our dogs, socialising etc. The job also entails between June to September being able to work away at another site for up to 5 days a week, including additional bonuses for working away. All accommodation and food will be paid for.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
• Learning and implementing basic dog training.
• Clean and maintain kennel areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
