Job Description

What will you be doing?

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Restructuring & Recovery Services team in London. To provide a high level of expert support to partners and directors, including the supervision of restructuring and recovery processes through from planning to review and completion.

As Restructuring & Recovery Services Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include among others

  • Maintain a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensure cases are efficiently and proactively progressed.
  • Participate in independent business review, and other advisory, work as required.
  • Liaison with appointee and other staff where appropriate to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues.
  • Ensure staff are briefed and motivated in order to complete cases efficiently.
  • Review and supervise staff work and comment constructively on their performance.
  • Take a central role in developing staff and self through on-the-job experience.
  • Ensure all work is reviewed. Ensure files are completed to a state suitable for review.
  • Identify opportunities where we may be able to provide further services.
  • To assist the partner/director in ensuring that stakeholder needs are met and that the range of our services is extended.
  • Where possible, the service level expectations of stakeholders should be exceeded.
  • Attend marketing events where appropriate and bring/develop own network of potential work sources.
  • Review statutory documents for compliance with Insolvency regulations and relevant standards.
  • Prepare case reviews and brief partners on work carried out and business issues.
  • Manage WIP and debtors on a client by client basis.
  • Be a positive influence in the team and in embracing and driving change where needed.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should

  • Substantial experience of corporate (administration/liquidation) and property (LPA) insolvencies is necessary.
  • Knowledge of insolvency legislation and other statutory requirements. 
  • Quick to learn/adapt to new procedures/situations. 
  • Ability to organise and to be able to work on several different assignments at one time.

Professional Qualifications and Education

  • Qualified accountant and/or JIEB.
