About the Role
- Position
: Qualified Electrician (Solar PV Installations) - Location
: Based in Sevenoaks, Kent, with travel across the South East - Working Hours
: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - (Some projects may require early starts, later finishes, or occasional weekend work & overtime)
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installation of Solar PV systems, including AC and DC components
- Installation and commissioning of inverters, battery storage, and related equipment
- Running cable containment and managing on-site electrical safety
- Working as part of a small team to ensure safe, high-quality installations
- Providing a professional, customer-focused service on every job
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- ECS card required
- 6–12 months' experience in solar PV installations (preferred)
- Experience with both AC and DC installation work
- Clean and valid UK driving licence
- BPEC Solar qualification is desirable, but not essential
- Must live within a reasonable commute to Sevenoaks, Kent
- Willingness to work away from home on occasion (expenses covered)
- Professional, courteous, and customer-facing
