The Role:

Guest Experience:

· Welcome each customer with a smile, making sure they feel right at home from the moment they walk in.

· Keep the atmosphere lively and upbeat by chatting and spreading positivity.

· Share helpful tips and creative ideas with guests during their sessions to make every visit memorable and fun.

· Assist guests with checking in and out, ensuring everything is easy and stress-free.

· Host groups of up to 40 customers, bringing friendly energy and representing our brand with enthusiasm.

· Regularly give feedback to business owners, offering suggestions to make our events even better for everyone.

· Help keep our venue sparkling clean and inviting, pitching in on daily tasks like wiping surfaces and cleaning floors.

· Stay positive and energetic, especially during busy times, so the good vibes never stop

Teamwork:

● Assist the Head Baker with daily duties, including weighing out ingredients.

● Support team members during shift changeovers, helping with daily cleaning tasks such as washing up and maintaining a high standard of presentation.

● Be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel to other venue locations if needed.

● Stand in for other staff at short notice in case of illness or emergencies.

Operations:

● Open and close the event under the Head Baker's direction, ensuring smooth operational flow.

● Help manage inventory and stock control, ensuring that all supplies are well-maintained and available.

● Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Qualifications/requirements for applying/maintaining the role include:

  • Available to work 2 or more shifts a week
  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • Confidence in speaking with customers on a day to day basis
  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to go above and beyond

Working conditions:

If selected, you will be joining our fantastic team at the Tooting site, where the role involves exciting shift work from Monday to Sunday. We are looking for someone who loves engaging with large groups of customers and thrives in a lively environment. There may be occasional travel to other venue locations across the UK, with advance notice provided.

Physical Requirements:

The nature of the role is hospitality-based, involving exciting tasks like carrying ingredients and utensils to customers, and warmly welcoming and greeting guests throughout the venue. Our opening hours are between 7 am and 11 pm, with shifts occurring within, and occasionally outside, these times.

Hours: Full & Part Time

Hourly rate: £12.45
