Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter at our London branch. The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth operations in our kitchen.

Job Type/Hours: Full-Time / 40 hours a week

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the kitchen area is kept clean and organized at all times
  • Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, and removing garbage
  • Assisting chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks as needed
  • Unloading deliveries and organizing storage areas
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a hygienic working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
