Key Responsibilities:

Sales Counter Support

  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product queries and purchases.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain product displays and ensure the sales area is tidy and well-stocked.

Warehousing

  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
  • Organize and store inventory in the warehouse.
  • Prepare orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Delivery Driving

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver building materials to customers.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a builders merchant or similar environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of building materials and products is a strong advantage.
  • A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of power tool repair or a willingness to learn.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
