Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in St Leonards on a permanent basis . This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality Maths education and making a meaningful impact on student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, deliver and assess engaging and challenging Maths lessons across the relevant key stages.
- Inspire students to develop strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, behaviour management and learner progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community, department development and extra-curricular opportunities where appropriate.
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) – essential
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and proven classroom teaching experience
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
- A permanent position within a supportive and forward-thinking school
- A collaborative Maths department with ongoing professional development
