The Role

As our Head Chef, you'll take the reins of a high-energy, high-volume kitchen, overseeing everything from menu execution to team development. You'll lead from the front, ensuring every plate delivers on our brand promise and keeps guests coming back for more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of chefs in a busy kitchen environment
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff to the highest standards
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to brand specifications
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Maintain compliance with food hygiene, health & safety regulations
  • Drive efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with management to evolve the menu and deliver seasonal specials

About You

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing your team
  • Solid knowledge of ordering, stock control, and cost management
  • A love for traditional British food
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and committed to excellence
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and peak service times

Job Requirements

Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time

You will show a willingness to learn new skills & processes

You must be very personable A calm & happy team is what we want.

Excellent cooking skills with a strong understanding of produce and ingredients

Ensure compliance with HACCP and food hygiene, health and safety legislation.

Good personal presentation
