Location: Ellesmere Port, NW
Salary: starting from £43,680 - £45, % site uplift + overtime (expected circa £65k per annum) 
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week with potential to work up to 50 hours per week with overtime)

Job Overview:

EC&I Partners are looking to speak with Industrial and Compex Electricians to join our clients in driving change within the gas sector. Your role will ensure compliance with electrical and instrumentation regulations across workshop and UK client sites. Their role includes working from technical drawings to install equipment, recommending improvements to electrical designs, and testing circuits and panels to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Salary (based on 40 hours per week):
Industrial Electrician - £34,320 to £45,760 (Expected earnings circa £55,000 per annum)
Compex Electrician - £43,680 to £45,760 (Expected earnings circa £65,000 per annum)
 
Additional 15% uplift for site work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure client sites comply with regulations for electrical distribution, equipment use, and control/instrumentation systems.
• Carry out electrical work both in the workshop and at various client sites across the UK.
• Work from a range of technical drawings to complete project installation tasks.
• Communicate suggestions for improvements, modifications, or innovations to electrical drawings.
• Test electrical circuits and panels to confirm systems are safe and meet regulatory standards.
• Electrical installation work, including inspecting and testing.
• Pre-Testing and pre-commissioning of completed projects.
• PAT testing.
• Ensure that project work is completed, following all EUK and industrial standards.
• Fault finding

 
Essential Skills:

• NVQ in Electrical Installation
• 2391 Inspection and Testing
• City & Guilds 18th Edition.
• Compex EX certification. (preferred, if not training will be provided)
• Previous industrial installation experience.
• Flexibility to travel within the UK
• Full, clean driving license and personal transport.
