London, Greater London, United Kingdom Live Nation Entertainment Full time £40,000 - £70,000 per year

Job Summary:

Company: Live Nation

Department: EMEA Ticketing

Location: Farringdon, London

Reports to: Senior Ticketing Business Analyst, EMEA

Working Hours: Full-time

Job Type: Permanent

Role Description

Resourceful and innovative, you are both able to analyse data and, importantly, translate that data into actionable insights. As the Ticketing (Data) Analyst, you love to make data work for the team.

You will build and monitor reports and dashboards that enable our team to understand the completeness and accuracy of the data used for tracking, analysis and decision-making. You will lead in visualising and gathering insights from data through Tableau and related BI tooling.

You're a clear communicator, able to adapt to audiences and stakeholders of various levels of data literacy. You are eager to make an impact, excited to be part of a team, and can't wait to see your data come to life.

What it's like to work in the Team

We are a diverse team which has to connect with different European markets, so it is important to be approachable whilst being analytical.

We are committed to working as a team and so support each other to achieve wins as a team.

The team oversees ticketing strategy and analytics for the Concerts division at Live Nation. We are a head office function and work across 20+ markets. We provide analytical support to executives at CXO and SVP levels, helping them formulate, assess and communicate their targets, challenges and achievements.

Central to this is the design and delivery of KPIs and metrics to measure progress and change, as well as data analysis and mining for patterns and trends. Current priorities are to grow our data maturity and reporting tools, with this role playing a pivotal part in our efforts to scale reliable reporting from our centralised EMEA Ticketing database and make it accessible and impactful across local teams.

Our aim is to deliver actionable insight to drive positive change within the business.

What we can offer you

Live Nation offers impressive employee benefits, including tickets to shows and festivals and unlimited annual leave. The Farmiloe Building in Farringdon, London, is a beautiful office to work in. Staff can enjoy the use of arcade games in the basement games room, onsite gym equipment, plus fitness and meditation classes. In addition to this, the office has a fully stocked complimentary coffee bar with baristas to serve you your favourite coffee as you walk into the office and offers heavily subsidised lunch options. We hold regular staff events in our atrium stage space, including hosting speakers and open mic nights to showcase Live Nation employee talent.

Who you are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Strong experience designing and building Tableau dashboards from scratch, including data source structuring and visual best practices.
  • Proficiency working with Databricks (or comparable SQL-based platform).
  • Confident in data modelling concepts, performance optimisation and ETL principles.
  • Familiarity with large-scale datasets from multiple sources and ability to maintain accuracy across complex data flows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyse data to find trends, patterns and opportunities.
  • Able to structure and optimise queries to support clean reporting layers and dashboard-ready datasets.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, with varying levels of data literacy. Proven ability to interrogate datasets and extract meaningful insights to then clearly summarise and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable ability to produce actionable recommendations that support strategic or operational decision-making. Extensive experience in creating and issuing reports for a variety of end-users is essential.
  • Understanding of data warehousing principles and business intelligence tools
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English. Additional European languages are a bonus.

  • Structure, validate and integrate clean datasets from our EMEA Ticketing database into Tableau to ensure consistency across local and central teams.
  • Streamline existing reporting processes to reduce manual work, increase automation, and minimise the risk of errors.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to scope reporting requirements and translate them into technical output
  • Design PowerPoint presentations and visual reporting tools that clearly communicate analysis, progress and results.
  • Helping embed a data-driven culture across the Ticketing team by ensuring reports are insightful, reliable and user-friendly.
  • Working closely with the Senior Analyst and system engineering/developer teams to troubleshoot issues, contribute to data governance, and help scale automation efforts
  • Liaise with IT and Product teams to validate the ongoing integrity and evolution of key datasets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all divisions of the business—up to 20 different countries—building strong working relationships and adapting communication styles to suit varied roles and levels of seniority.
