AI Architect

Who we're looking for

We are seeking an AI Architect who will serve as a distinguished subject matter expert and trusted advisor, translating client business strategy into scalable, impactful Generative AI solutions. You will lead solution architecture, from pre-sales and strategic design to engineering and delivery, within Azure AI Foundry and the broader Azure AI ecosystem. Your remit includes design leadership, deployment, governance, and adoption of advanced AI technologies including Agentic AI.  

We work with a Winning from Anywhere approach but there is an element of travel to client sites when required, along with travel to our company conference and events.

What you'll be delivering

• Collaborate with clients, sales, and delivery teams to understand business drivers and translate them into sustainable AI architectures.  
• Architect and engineer Generative AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, and related tooling. 
• Design for advanced AI capabilities: Conversational AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), NLP pipelines, CLU (Conversational Language Understanding), and building Agentic AI capabilities.  
• Provide technical leadership and domainexpertisethroughout the AI solution lifecycle, from strategy through delivery and deployment.  
• Instil governance frameworks, security guardrails, and Responsible AI best practices across all solutions. 
• Design scalable, repeatable AI architecture patterns that accelerate adoption and reuse across engagements.  
• Act as a subject matter expert: advising on AI adoption strategy, co-created client roadmaps, and enabling innovation via Copilot Studio and Azure AI. 
• Mentor and enable AI delivery teams, fostering capability uplift and technical growth. 

We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following

• Proven track record in architecting and delivering Generative AI and LLM-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry is highly desirable.  
• Deep expertise in Azure AI stack: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, Copilot Studio, and building AI agents / Agentic solutions.   
• Solid experience implementing RAG pipelines, NLP, CLU, conversational architectures, and prompt engineering.   
• Strong software engineering foundations (Python, .NET, C#) with experience in DevOps, containers, API design, and MLOps/GenAIOps.  
• Demonstrated ability to embed governance, security, and Responsible AI principles into solution design.  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience in pre-sales, client advisory, and delivery leadership.   
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
