We are now recruiting for a 12-month placement as part of our full-time, one-year Student Programme, starting in September 2025, This will be based in our Northampton site NN4 5FB

The Role

As part of the Yusen Student Placement Programme, you will complete one placement, learning a broad skill set and building comprehensive knowledge of the business.

Placements will cover areas such as:

Healthcare:

Yusen Logistics work with a number of leading pharmaceutical companies, helping them transport their vital, temperature-controlled cargo across Europe. During this placement, you can expect to: manage relationships with our carrier partners, coordinate deliveries of healthcare products around Europe, ensure the transport of medication complies with legal and safety regulations.

You will also receive formal and on-the-job training and be matched with a mentor for support. You'll be encouraged to actively network across the business, engaging with managers from different departments and building valuable professional relationships. These connections will not only broaden your understanding of our operations but also open up opportunities to learn, collaborate, and progress your career within the company.

About You
To be considered for our Student Placement, you will need:

  • A passion and motivation to start and develop a career within the logistics and supply chain industry in the UK market
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities from day one
  • A flexible approach to working styles, shifts, roles, and locations
  • Strong teamworking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A full, valid driving licence (if required for the role)
