Slitting Line Setter Operator

All applicants must have experience of steel slitting. Your main duties will include:

  • The setting and operating of a shimless slitting line
  • Use of micrometres and verniers
  • Using pneumatic hand tools
  • Operating overhead crane
  • Booking job details onto the computer system
  • Working shifts 06:00-14:00
  • Overtime may be required
  • Be able to work safely and in line with the company's health and safety procedures
  • Basic rate of £15.00 per hour for the first 40 hours
  • Overtime paid at a rate of time and a third
