We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Passive Fire Protection Installers to join our growing team.

This role involves carrying out a range of Passive Fire Protection works across our Construction and Maintenance projects throughout the Northwest.

You will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire stopping systems and materials in line with current regulations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and workmanship are achieved on every project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out passive fire protection installations including fire stopping, penetration sealing, and compartmentation.
  • Work across a variety of live construction and maintenance sites.
  • Ensure all work complies with current fire safety and building regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of works carried out.
  • Work collaboratively with Site Teams and our FIRAS Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the passive fire protection industry (or relevant construction experience).
  • Suitable qualifications in fire protection or a related construction trade.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements on site.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Full UK driving licence

Training & Development:

Competitive rates of pay negotiable dependent upon experience and Industry related qualifications.

Hours of work are 40 per week, 07.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (with a 45-minute lunch break. Overtime is paid at time and half after 40hrs worked during the week and on Saturdays, Sundays are paid @ double time.

We offer 21 days plus Statutory Bank Holidays per annum and a Company pension scheme with Royal London.

Amspec provide full PPE. We also encourage and promote continuous professional development for all staff with no barriers to further training.

This is a full-time permanent position to commence ASAP.
