Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading your team to provide outstanding hospitality.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage a team of kitchen and service staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in all aspects of food handling and storage.
  • Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, service excellence, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Address any customer concerns or feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service efficiency and team performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
  • Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff development.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with barista duties or beverage preparation is a plus.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
