London, Greater London, United Kingdom Famly Full time £50,000 - £85,000 per year
Job description

Are you a strategic relationship builder who thrives at the intersection of commercial growth and deep customer partnership? Do you want to not only own the most valuable accounts but also impact and influence internal practices and team members? Famly is looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to drive expansion, retention, and strategic influence across our top-tier accounts.

As a Senior Key Account Manager at Famly, you will operate at the highest level of strategic account ownership. You will take the lead on our largest and most complex partnerships, as well as mentor and support the development of other KAMs. Solutions-focused and positive, you thrive in a fast-paced environment - skilfully navigating opportunities to accelerate commercial growth and deepen customer love at every turn. You're not only a master of relationship management and growth - you're also a driving force behind team excellence and customer-centric innovation.

What you'll be doing

This isn't just about managing a book of business; it's about operating at the highest level of strategic account ownership and influencing our overall Key Accounts team.

  • Lead our most valuable and complex accounts with an executive-level approach. You'll build deep, multi-threaded relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Design and deliver long-term account strategies, driving expansion, retention, and strategic alignment.

  • Identify and close significant upsell opportunities through deep commercial and consultative work.

  • Mentor and enable other Key Account Managers (KAMs), supporting onboarding, peer reviews, and skills development.

  • Act as a voice of the customer across Product, Sales, and CX, helping align internal teams with client needs.

  • Own forecasting and portfolio reporting for leadership, ensuring clarity on growth, risks, and outcomes.

Job requirements What you bring

You're a master of relationship management and growth, and a driving force behind team excellence.

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role.

  • Executive-level communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.

  • A positive, solutions-focused mindset, seeing every challenge as an opportunity to strengthen customer trust and fuel commercial growth.

  • Commercial Sharpness: You understand what drives growth and take ownership of outcomes.

  • Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to align customer objectives with Famly's business goals.

  • Calm Under Pressure: You handle high-stakes challenges and escalations with maturity and confidence, ensuring customer trust and retention.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the ability to analyze customer data.

What excites you

You thrive when you are:

  • Taking the lead on our largest and most complex partnerships.

  • Leading high-impact Business Reviews that set direction, unlock growth, and drive retention.

  • Having a clear, measurable impact on the performance and development of your peers and the wider team.

  • Turning challenges into opportunities that strengthen customer happiness.

  • Thinking in systems, not just tasks, with a vision-driven approach.

  • Satisfying customers who see you as a long-term partner.

What excites us
  • Top-tier account growth and retention metrics across your portfolio (e.g., Net Revenue Retention and strategic account expansion rate).

  • Your influence on process, tooling, or strategy that significantly enhances team effectiveness.

  • Forecasts and reporting that leadership trusts and acts on.

  • Your contributions to building, refining, and scaling key account processes, tooling, and best practices.

  • A collaborative and inclusive presence that makes others better by being in the room.

And who are Famly...?

At Famly, we're on a mission to give children the best possible start to life by supporting the people who make that happen every day: early-years professionals.

It all started when our co-founder Henrik dropped off his daughter at daycare and realised how much was still being done with pen and paper—and how distant that made him feel from her day. Together with Anders, now our CEO, they set out to build software that bridges that gap.

Today, Famly is used by 34,000+ childcare professionals and hundreds of thousands of parents to:

  • Communicate in real-time

  • Reduce admin stress

  • Improve planning, pedagogy, and finances

  • And ultimately, give more time to the little ones that matter most

Want to help us do even more of that? We'd love to have you.

Why you'll love working with Famly
  • You'll be surrounded by clever, kind people who support each other

  • We give you ownership—freedom to try new things, backed by trust

  • Top-tier equipment (noise-cancelling headphones included)

  • Onsite learning from peers, leaders and coaches as well as regular team and company activities

  • Ongoing personal and professional development beyond sales skills

  • A mission you can believe in—and see the impact of daily

Ready to apply? We're hiring right now, so don't wait around.

Send us:

  • Your CV

  • A short cover letter telling us what excites you about Famly and why you'd be a great fit OR if you don't want to write - no problem, send us a video instead

The interview process

Here's what to expect:

  • Video conversation with Neeta, the team's People Partner

  • Rational thinking test

  • Chat with Kat, Head of Key Account Management, UK&I/Nordics

  • Case study / Skills test with panel interview

  • Final conversation with Matt, UK General Manager

We move fast and keep it human throughout.

We look forward to hearing from you
