Job Description:

H&D Recruitment is currently hiring for the position of Picker and Packer in Hatfields on a full-time basis, offering a pay rate of £12.21 per hour. The ideal candidate must have good English communication skills, at least 6 months of warehouse experience, and full-time Right to Work in the UK. Key responsibilities include picking, packing, lifting items, sorting, inventory control, and maintaining warehouse standards and safety procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have good English communication skills — clear, concise, and conversational.
  • Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience required.
  • Must be confident and able to work independently.
  • Must have full-time Right to Work in the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack items accurately and efficiently.
  • Lift and move weight-bearing items as required.
  • Sort and place materials or products onto racks and shelves.
  • Collect items from different areas of the warehouse and prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
  • Perform inventory control using scanners or computer systems.
  • Conduct stock counting and location checks.
  • Move and store products in the correct warehouse areas.
  • Process, pick, and pack orders within given timeframes, working to daily targets.
  • Maintain records and reports through the company's computer systems.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain company warehouse standards at all times.
