Kitchen Porter Role – Supporting Luxury Hospitality Teams

As a Kitchen Porter in our luxury hotel, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen brigade with a variety of essential tasks. Your work will play a key part in maintaining the high standards expected in a premium hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities for Kitchen Porters
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Wash and organize kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery
  • Assist chefs and culinary team with general kitchen duties as required
  • Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and kitchen surfaces are sanitized
  • Support the smooth running of service by keeping all areas fully stocked and tidy
  • Follow health & safety and food hygiene regulations at all times
  • Help with receiving and storing deliveries
Ideal Candidate Profile – Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a kitchen porter, kitchen assistant, or in a similar role is desirable
  • Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure within a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Strong team player with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Flexible with shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
  • Punctual, reliable, and professional at all times
