Health Innovation North West Coast is offering a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, passionate and driven individual to join our team as an Assurance and Transformation Manager. This is a key position where you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering assurance, improvement and transformation initiatives across the organisation.

You will be central to ensuring the successful implementation of assurance solutions and projects that align with the development of our strategy and long-term organisation development goals.
Main duties of the job
As the Assurance and Transformation Manager, you will work collaboratively with senior leaders, internal teams, NHS and other partners, to ensure quality and consistency across programmes. You'll provide robust assurance and oversight to establish quality processes while leading on the adoption of innovative systems and processes that support organisation-wide improvement.
Key to your success will be your ability to bring together stakeholders, nurturing strong relationships and building consensus to drive impactful, sustainable change. You will be instrumental in supporting change management efforts across the organisation, using your engaging, proactive, and positive approach to champion transformation and improvement.
The Assurance and Transformation Manager role is required to provide a leading role in the development and management of the organisations corporate systems and processes, through commissioner assurance reporting and internal dashboard development. The role is also required to project manage the implementation of key digital systems for the organisation, along with day-to-day responsibility for the management and continued development of system functionality and supporting processes across HINWC.

Job responsibilities
The post will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Mapping and development of digital systems to meet HINWC requirements
- Management of corporate digital systems
- Development of data management and analytic processes to support organizational requirements
- Development of data management and analytic systems to deliver dashboard and summary reports for internal and external assurance purposes.
- Visualise analysed data to present in a meaningful and effective manner
- Lead on National Quarterly Data Collection (NQDC) processes for the organisations, coordinating activity across teams.
- Scoping, planning and delivery projects within agreed timescales and approach.
- Development of evaluation approaches for projects
- Development and monitoring of project reporting metrics.
- Project documentation including creating reports for a variety of audiences.
- Development and management of a range of digital systems including;
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM),
- Office365 (including SharePoint and Teams),
- CoPilot and other AI solutions
- Project Management system
- Develop PMO systems and processes, supporting the Senior Leadership Team
- Provide oversight for the PMO function
- Line management of PMO and Project Support Officer resources.
- Management of matrix project resources for project delivery.
Person SpecificationKnowledge and ExperienceEssential
- Knowledge of health and care services and associated NHS policy
- Knowledge of the NHS and Care system and structures
- Experience of data analysis and data systems management
- Experience of data visualisation and dashboard development
- Reporting submissions - commissioners and Senior Management Teams.
- Experience of running a range of projects in a complex changing people focused organisation from design stage until completion
- Experience of engaging with multidisciplinary teams in achieving successful outcomes.
- Knowledge and experience of governance and assurance in an NHS setting either directly or by working in partnership with the NHS.
- Experience of writing concise and effective reports for organisations' internal forums
- Experienced team leader and line manager.
- Knowledge of information governance requirements
- Understanding of multidisciplinary issues, collaborations and networking
- Evidence of policy and strategy development
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within a management role within a customer focused organisation which must include:
- Experience in designing and using a range of evaluation methods
- Experience of successfully managing complex projects within a programme management system including evidence of appl icat ion of change management methodologies.
- Experience of creating and managing ongoing productive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Management and delivery of multi stakeholder events.
- Experience of using Project Management software systems
- Experience of using a CRM system
- Experience of training others to use software systems
- Experience of writing assurance reports and risk assessments for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of writing concise and effective reports for organisations' internal forums
- Experience in designing and using a range of evaluation methods
Desirable
- Implementing major changes to working methods and evaluating effectiveness.
- Delivering online education and training and designing content.
- Understanding of theory and practice of how to innovate and its application in health and care organisations.
- Evidence of an understanding and interpretation of national and local NHS policy.
- Experience within an NHS, mental health or care environment
- Evidence of an understanding and interpretation of national and local NHS policy.
- Working with community and voluntary groups

Education / QualificationsEssential
- Working towards or educated to Master's degree level or equivalent experience
- Project Management qualification e.g. Prince2, Agile, etc
- Evidence of continuous personal professional development.

- Post Graduate qualification in a relevant discipline
- Programme Management Qualification (MSP or equivalent)
Work Related CircumstancesEssential
- Ability to comply with the travel requirements of the post and undertake work-related journeys within the NWC area (regularly), nationally (occasionally) and internationally (occasionally if in the interests of the organisation).
