Blenheim Veterinary Centre is a small animal practice located in the lovely market town of Ashbourne, and covering surrounding areas of Derbyshire. Ashbourne is located just on the edge of the stunning Peak District. Ashbourne is home to a great community and offers a tremendous quality of life with access to picturesque outdoor attractions, excellent transportation links and you have both East Midlands and Manchester Airports close by.

We have a large, friendly and very hardworking team of 7 Vets, 8 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 VCA and a great reception team. We have one medicine certificate holder and one exotics certificate holder within the team. Within this role you will have a busy and varied caseload, as well as the opportunity to undertake lots of charity work e.g. Cats Protection.

We have a great range of equipment and facilities including a reception area with separate dog and cat sections, 5 consult rooms, open prep space, separate kennels, cattery and isolation wards, theatre, diagnostic facilities including in house laboratory, x-rays, ultrasound and dental x-ray.

You will work 40 hours per week over four 10-hour days in the week. You will be part of a rota for Saturday mornings. No OOH which allows a great work life balance.

You will be supported by an experienced vet team, and senior nursing team.
