The Role:

We are currently seeking to recruit a hardworking and motivated Ground Maintenance Person. The successful candidate will work with a small team ensuring all relevant works are carried out in a safe and timely manner.

  • General grounds maintenance, sweeping, litter picking, power washing, emptying and washing external bins, gutter cleaning and any other general duties required.
  • Driving, operating and maintaining a range of equipment / machinery – this will include grass-cutters, hedge trimmers, strimmers, push mowers and ride-on mowers
  • Using a range of hand - held equipment and tools associated with the role including rollers, spades, forks and spraying equipment.
  • Maintenance of grass areas.
  • Hedge-cutting, chemical control and application.
  • Constructional labouring duties associated with the post and assisting other team members in their duties.
  • Working as part of a small team.
  • The maintenance/completion of accurate records and maintenance logs
  • Any other general duties as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar Ground Maintenance or Labourer role
  • Driving licence
  • Flexibility to work at various sites within Northern Ireland.
  • Willing to work at height, when required
  • Ability to act on your own initiative as well as part of a small team
  • Hardworking with a can-do attitude
  • Construction Skills Register card is desirable
  • Trailer licence category is desirable
