Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process within our warehouse environment, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Operate and maintain various production machinery and equipment.
- Assemble components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including the movement of materials within the warehouse.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production or assembly setting.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
