The Role:

Digital Workplace Services (DWS) is responsible for managing the University's endpoint devices, software delivery platforms, and application management solutions. Operating within a modern, resilient infrastructure, DWS provides the essential software, hardware, and operating system platforms that underpin the University's daily operations.

As a Senior Desktop Specialist, you will oversee the day-to-day administration of key technologies including Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Active Directory. In addition to operational responsibilities, you will have opportunities to contribute to project work and collaborate across teams within the department. This role also requires staying informed about emerging industry trends that enhance the digital user experience and align with the University's strategic goals

Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 11 November 2025.
