The Role:

We are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant to join our friendly, knowledgeable team.

This is a hands-on, customer-focused position where you will be the go-to product expert; helping customers and field sales teams choose the best products based on performance, reliability, and cost.

Every customer enquiry is an opportunity to deliver an exceptional, tailored experience. You will take pride in understanding customer needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring they receive the right products for every project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support
  • Respond to inbound enquiries by phone and email with accurate product recommendations
  • Build strong relationships with customers and understand their business needs
  • Advise on product selection from Lighthouse Pools' full range
  • Prepare quotations and process sales orders accurately
  • Follow up on leads and quotes promptly to maximise conversions
  • Liaise with field sales, logistics, and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Stay up to date with product developments, trends, and new technologies

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in technical sales, sales coordination, or customer service (product-based or distribution preferred)
  • Confident communicator with a strong customer-first approach
  • Excellent administrative, IT, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Xero, CRM, or ERP systems (desirable)
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Eager to learn and develop expert knowledge of technical products
