To help us to achieve our growth plans, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Supervisors in our Start Rescue Customer Service Team.
As a Senior Supervisor in our customer service centre, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our supervisors and customer service representatives. Reporting directly to senior management, you will ensure that our team meets performance targets, maintains high levels of customer satisfaction and adheres to company policies and procedures.
This is an exciting and varied role, providing the chosen applicant the opportunity to become an integral part of the Start Rescue Team.
Job purpose:
- To supervise the office administration from a procedural and technical level.
- To support the Supervisors in the day to day running of the office.
- To report and assist in the remedy of any procedural or technical area of the office.
- To provide support to senior management.
- To assist with staff training and personal development.
- Act in a Customer Services Representative Role when required, which will include:
o Answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquiries in an award-winning fashion
o Assisting with quotes and policy updates
o Dealing with midterm policy adjustments
o Completing tasks requiring outbound calls to be made to our existing customers
o Creating policies for new and returning customers whilst providing any information the customer requires to make an informed choice
o Ad hoc office based duties

Essential skills, knowledge & experience:
- Competent in Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook

- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in a supervisor or team leader role essential
- Previous customer service experience essential, you will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate with customers verbally by telephone and in writing
Hours:
The successful applicant(s) will need to cover the following shifts:
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00
Saturday 09:00 - 17:00
Sundays 11:00 – 17:00
Specific working hours will be discussed at the interview.
Salary: £27,000
Training
Full-time training will be 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 for three months.

We are based in the heart of Colchester close to the train station and a short walk from the town centre.
