Travel: Yes – Worldwide travel, approx. 3-4 weeks each year.

Accommodation: The Nanny will have their own private flat, annexed to the main house and completely separate, with its own entrance. The nanny will also enjoy the use of a private sauna in the main house.

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 gross per annum (Dependant on Experience)

Overview

A warm and welcoming Family is seeking a Finnish-speaking baby Nanny to join them in January/February 2026, when their baby will be newborn/one month old. The first month will be working alongside a maternity nurse. These first-time parents are looking for a professional, flexible nanny who is passionate about infant care. The family is seeking someone who can become a valued and trusted member of their household as their baby grows. This is a sole-charge position as both parents work full-time.

You MUST speak Finnish (C2 Minimum) and English; this is essential, as the parents wish for the child to be bilingual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full care of baby: feeding, changing nappies, developmental play
  • Establishing and maintaining a consistent routine
  • Monitoring and encouraging age-appropriate milestones
  • Light baby-related housekeeping (laundry, bottle sterilising, tidying baby areas), a full-time housekeeper is employed
  • Travel with the family on holidays (approx. 3 to 4 weeks a year)

Candidate Requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK is essential
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with infants
  • Confident, caring, and highly reliable
  • C2 Minimum Level in both English and Finnish (essential to be bilingual) - we will expect you to evidence this
  • DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
