Job Title: Teaching Assistant with Midday Assistant Duties
Salary: Teaching Assistant Scale 3 point 5 (depending on experience) £15,524.51 Midday Assistant £2,821.81
Hours: Teaching Assistant 26.25 hours per week Midday Assistant 5.00 hours per week
Working Pattern: Term Time only 44.6
Contract type: Fixed term until 31st August 2026

The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3, depending on experience, whose role will be to support pupils within a classroom setting across the school. This will involve supporting the class teacher with administration tasks, learning activities with groups of pupils and where necessary 1-1 support. Knowledge of SEND and a range of primary based interventions would be an advantage but not essential.
