Based in Hounslow, we serve students in Isleworth, Twickenham, Feltham, and West London, as well as nationwide through our online platform. Our experienced tutors focus on fostering confidence, improving grades, and unlocking every student's potential, with a proven track record in exams such as GCSEs, A-Levels, and 11+. LittleTutorHouse offers a supportive learning environment with small group and 1-on-1 sessions, both in-center and online.

Role Description

This is an on-site contract role located in Hounslow for a Tutor at LittleTutorHouse. The Tutor will provide high-quality instruction in Maths, English, or Science to students from Primary to A-Level. Responsibilities include preparing customized lesson plans, identifying student strengths and areas for improvement, tracking academic progress, and fostering a motivating and supportive learning environment. The Tutor will also assist students with exam preparation, including GCSEs, A-Levels, and 11+ exams, as well as support UCAS applications where necessary. Collaboration with parents and other tutors to ensure students' academic success is also expected.

Qualifications

  • Strong subject matter expertise in Maths, English, or Science at Primary, KS3, GCSE, and A-Level standards
  • Proficiency in lesson planning, individualized teaching strategies, and academic support
  • Effective communication, patience, and ability to engage students of different ages and learning abilities
  • Experience with exam preparation, such as GCSEs, A-Levels, or 11+, and providing UCAS application support
  • Relevant tutoring or teaching experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work on-site in Hounslow and adjust teaching methods to different group sizes, including individual and small group sessions
  • Teaching qualifications, such as a QTS or a degree in Education or a closely related field, are advantageous
