We are now recruiting a Graduate Engineer to support the execution of projects and contribute to high-quality technical work across a range of assignments. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin an exciting career in a dynamic and fast-paced technical environment.

ABOUT YOU

As the Graduate Engineer, you will be a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. You will work closely with the Group Manager and Team Leader, supporting project delivery and contributing to technical reporting and client engagement.

Required skills and experience:

  • A degree in a relevant scientific or engineering subject
  • Some laboratory experience in metallurgical, materials science or chemical environments
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Flexible approach to working hours

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects within the Exploration & Production business line, supporting analytical testing and consultancy services across the oil and gas value chain. You'll be part of a collaborative team, contributing to technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Key activities:

  • Undertake project work under limited supervision
  • Record and interpret analytical and test results accurately
  • Produce clear and concise technical reports
  • Support client queries and contribute to report preparation
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Participate in Kaizen 5S processes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Understand and apply project management systems and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and procedures
  • Champion Intertek's values and contribute to a performance culture focused on exceeding customer expectations
