Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant. Your role will involve engaging with customers, assisting with their needs, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
  • Manage guest inquiries and provide excellent guest services to enhance their dining experience.
  • Upsell menu items to maximise customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.

Skills

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
  • Experience in serving food and beverages, with an understanding of culinary techniques preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Capability to upsell menu items confidently while providing recommendations based on guest preferences.
