We have worked closely with this fantastic special school in Wiltshire for a number of years and they are on the lookout for an ASD Learning Support Assistant to join the team. The school looks after a range of special needs, the vast majority of these students have some form of Autism.
They are a school that has grown massively in size over the last few years, so it is an exciting time to be joining them.
The role
The gap the school currently have is within a KS1 class of around 9 students. Your role will be to support the class teacher with whatever they need and work closely with the other 2 TA's inside and out of the classroom.
You must feel confident dealing with challenging behaviour and have strong experience working with ASD in some capacity. Experience working within a school setting is of course preferred but applications from experienced SEN support workers will be considered.
