Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Computational Designer, based in Oxford with the option for partial remote work. The Computational Designer will be responsible for creating digital design frameworks, developing parametric and generative design solutions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on innovative projects. Other responsibilities include prototyping and testing computational design methods, integrating artificial intelligence and robotics into designs, and contributing to the company's research and development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Computational Design, Parametric Modeling, and Generative Design tools
  • Strong skills in Programming, Software Development, and Algorithm Design related to design and robotics
  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling, Simulation, and Visualization techniques
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Analysis as applicable to design
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Computer Science, Design Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with robotics integration and physical prototyping is a strong advantage
  • Enthusiasm for working at the intersection of technology, design innovation, and research
