We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Accredited Immigration Consultant to join our team.
Job Description: We are seeking a knowledgeable and flexible Level 2 Accredited Immigration Consultant to provide expert advice and guidance to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of immigration cases, including detention work, and will be required to attend the office and see clients. Some work can be done remotely, making this role suitable for someone looking for a flexible working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on immigration matters to clients.
- Assess clients' eligibility for various immigration options and advise on the best pathway.
- Prepare and submit immigration applications and supporting documents.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and regulations.
- Communicate with clients about the status of their applications and provide regular updates.
- Represent clients in immigration hearings and interviews, if necessary.
- Maintain client files and records in an organised manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant immigration laws and policies.
- Provide support and advice on settling into a new country, such as finding accommodation, jobs, or schools.
Requirements:
- Law Society Level 2 senior Caseworker Immigration Accreditation/ Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC).
- Experience with Detained Duty Advice Scheme (DDAS) work is a bonus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
