is inviting freelance proof readers to submit their CVs to be kept on file for consideration when we need extra capacity. We provide proofreading for case managers and other associated professionals in the medico-legal industry. We have worked hard to gain the trust and build a positive reputation over the past six years. We are entrusted with highly confidential documents and reports and need to get our team right for the protection of ourselves, our customers, and their clients. We make no apology for being robust in our criteria and discerning in our team members.

Responsibilities

· Proofreading of medico-legal documents within a set time frame (usually 24 hours)

· Responding to feedback.

· Attendance at training and providing training if you have a skill we would like to learn (training is paid at a separate rate than proofing).

Qualifications

· Excellent written communication in UK English

· Proofreading experience

· Medico-legal proofreading experience (desirable but not essential)

Desirable

· Knowledge of the medico-legal industry

  • Personal Indemnity insurance up to half a million (we will need this in place but don't let not having it put you off applying – we can look at this on a case-by-case basis)
  • Basic up to date DBS (we can pay for this)
  • A single user computer to work from with up-to-date security features (essential)
