We are looking for a Lunchtime Assistant to work within our busy nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bringing smiles to little faces, serving up delicious food and being of assistance to the staffing team.

Your role will be to support the nursery team within the unit during dinner times. You will be based in the 2-3's room and your role will consist of liaising with the nursery cook, fetching dinners on time, serving up dinner, assisting the staff and children, tidying away dinner and setting the room back up.

This vacancy is a part-time position across five days (Monday-Friday) 10.00am - 2.00pm.

Salary is competitive depending on experience.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Following dietary and allergy procedures

  • Ensuring all crockery and utensils are thoroughly washed

  • Support the children and nursery nurse team whilst supervising during dinnertime

  • Setting up and tidying away within the unit during dinner time

  • Providing assistance to the staffing team

Successful applicants will need to undertake a DBS check.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
