Job description
Main Purpose of Role
To represent Nottinghamshire Police in a multi-agency environment, with a problem-solving approach to protect children at risk of Child Exploitation.
To ensure compliance with national guidance, force procedures and local protocols, thereby promoting best practice, and managing risk of harm to vulnerable people.
To assist and provide guidance to operational staff regarding children at risk of exploitation.
Key Skills & Experience Required
The ability to communicate effectively and professionally, at all levels face to face and in writing.
Be able to communicate concisely and assertively, sometimes in a highly emotional environment.
The ability to gather, assess and summarise key information from a range of sources (including computer and manual systems) in order to support action.
Ability to appropriately challenge internal / external colleagues as necessary.
Highly motivated with the ability to manage own workload in a pressured environment.
Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Ability to represent Nottinghamshire Police at multiagency meetings and act within the remit of the organisation in relation to Missing Persons.
