Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all day-to-day operations in the workshop, ensuring repairs and maintenance works are carried out to the highest standards whilst meeting legislative requirements of the operations.
  • Repair and maintain HGV's and Plant Machinery as directed either on or off site.
  • Assist the safe, efficient, and effective operation of all vehicles.
  • To comply with the company safety regulations, policies, and safe working practices.
  • Communicate effectively with staff/management.
  • Knowledge of MOT preparations
  • Carry out weekly inspections of vehicles.

Required Skills:

  • You will have previous experience working as HGV mechanic.
  • Experience with heavy plant and small tools
  • Welding experience
  • Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Punctual, hard-working, 'can do' attitude.

Health & Safety

  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and report any malpractice.
  • Report all accidents, incidents,

You will also have a full, clean driving licence.

Required NVQ Level 2 or NVQ level 3 in HGV
