The shift pattern for this post is: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the acute based Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service for a Band 3 Respiratory Health Care Support Worker.

The post-holder will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team providing clinical and operational support to the Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist and Physiotherapy team to support the delivery of high quality Respiratory care to patients within Nurse Led Services and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programmes within hospital settings and community venues across GG&C.

The post-holder will assist the team to assess and deliver prescribed Pulmonary Rehabilitation programmes to maximise functional independence and rehabilitation potential for patients with chronic lung disease. As well as supporting the delivery of Nurse Led clinics.

The post-holder will assist those registered professionals working under their supervision and guidance in undertaking both clinical and non-clinical tasks.

This post will be instrumental in helping to deliver the highest quality respiratory care inclusive of the ongoing implementation and scale up of digital patient pathways.

We would welcome a motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual to complement our existing and supportive multi-disciplinary team.

Previous experience in a health care environment is preferable but not essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a high standard of both written and verbal communication.

A full training package will be provided.

A full driving license and car owner is required.
