The Parts Driver is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of parts to customers, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires excellent driving skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to safety. The Parts Driver will play a vital role in supporting the Parts Department by facilitating efficient logistics and contributing to business growth through proactive engagement with existing and new customers.

What will you be doing day to day?

  • Deliver parts to customers promptly and safely, ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off by recipients.
  • Verify and complete all necessary documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and return forms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively engage with new customers to expand the parts business and help keep commercial vehicles operating efficiently.
  • Handle parts with care and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Comply with all company Health and Safety policies and procedures

Skills or experience

Full valid UK driving licence.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to high standards.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Awareness of Health and Safety procedures.

Knowledge of the local area.

An awareness of Health and Safety procedures/policies.

Previous experience in the Parts department.

Experience with multi-drop deliveries.

Familiarity with commercial vehicle parts.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm (42.5 per week)

Remuneration Package:

  • Base Salary (annual or monthly): £26,984 (£12.21 per hour)
  • Bonus / Variable Compensation: Discretionary Bonus Scheme
