Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Home Health Care Assistant, based in Blackburn, serving Blackburn, Darwen and the surrounding areas. The role involves providing high-quality personal and patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients. The candidate will communicate effectively with clients and their families, understand individual preferences, and contribute to fostering a supportive care environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Personal Care and Activities of Daily Living support
  • Skills in Patient Care and Home Care services
  • Strong Communication skills to ensure effective interaction with clients, families, and team members
  • Empathy, reliability, and a compassionate approach to caregiving
  • Relevant certifications in health or social care are preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to maintaining client dignity and promoting their independence
