We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Manager to take the lead at our Waverley store in Edinburgh.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week across 5 days out of 7. This will include some weekends so you'll need a flexible approach to your working hours.

We offer a competitive salary as well as quarterly and annual bonus schemes, giving you the opportunity to earn up to 22% more depending on the targets you achieve. We also offer 28 days holiday increasing to 31 with service, enrolment onto our BUPA medical cash plan, free uniform and discounted travel money. You'll work along side an extremely passionate and friendly team who genuinely care about the success of our business.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising a Bureau Team to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives through the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • To develop, lead and manage a small team of Sales Advisors, ensuring the highest standards of presentation are maintained and staff are fully trained on all aspects of the role.
  • Managing rotas, ensuring staffing levels reflect customer needs.
  • Dealing professionally and knowledgeably with all customer complaints/queries ensuring a satisfactory conclusion is met.
  • Ensure all Company policies are adhered including Health and Safety, AML and Security and ensure all Bureau employees are fully briefed and educated on any changes in policies or procedures.
  • Undertake marketing initiatives, to promote the Bureau and increase brand awareness.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Demonstrable supervisory experience ideally obtained in a cash handling environment.
  • Excellent customer service experience essential and experience with foreign currencies is desirable.

Competencies Required

  • Demonstrable superior customer service skills with the ability to coach others to adopt these principles.
  • A good leader with a proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of Sales Advisors.
  • Numerate, with a business acumen and good accuracy.
  • Comfortable communicating on all levels including within the business and to external customers and suppliers.
  • Must be flexible and have a can-do attitude and approach.
