What we offer our Community Care Assistants:

  • Week Day Salary: Starting from £13.25 per hour
  • Weekend Salary: Starting from £14.50 per hour
  • £19.88 per hour on bank holidays

Dependent on their Care Plan, duties may include:

  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Medication administration
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Encouraging and supporting clients to engage in daily activities
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings

Requirements of a Community Care Assistant:

  • Availability: Must be able to offer at least one weekend day part - mornings from 7am, afternoon and/or evenings until 11pm.
  • Hours available: 7am – 11pm Saturday and/or Sunday
  • Driving Licence: Must hold a full UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
  • Attitude: A genuine passion for helping others, with a positive and reliable approach to teamwork
  • Willingness to Learn: Full training is provided, including a free enhanced DBS check, induction, and ongoing support

Preferred (but not essential) Experience:

  • Previous experience in domiciliary, assisted living, or nursing home care
  • Skills in supporting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or end-of-life care
  • First aid certification
  • Experience with meal prep or medication handling
